Lisandro Martinez is determined to return as soon as possible after undergoing surgery, the action star posted on his Instagram:

“Today, after a few dark days where I allowed myself to feel. And accept deep sadness, hopelessness, insecurity, fear, and emotional imbalance, I am now in touch with my core and my thoughts. Which helps me see things in a more positive and positive light.”

“I am incredibly grateful for the incredible work and support from Manchester United, the Argentina national team, my family, friends, teammates. And everyone who took the time to send me messages of support. The surgery went perfectly!! Now it’s time to put my heart and soul into the recovery process.”

United will be back on the training pitches soon at Carrington ahead of their first pre-season fixture against Leeds in Oslo on July 12. Erik ten Hag will welcome back the players who have not just been away on international duty early in July.
